👋 Interested in joining our group?
We are always interested in connecting with motivated and curious scientists who share our enthusiasm for understanding cardiovascular disease through integrative omics approaches.
If you are interested in working with us or would like to explore potential opportunities within the group, please send your CV and a short summary of your research background and motivation for applying. We are actively looking for new members at different career stages.
Post-doctoral Researchers
We welcome applications from post-doctoral researchers with a strong interest in cardiovascular disease (CVD) and a background in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, or related fields. Prospective postdocs are encouraged to contact us to discuss potential projects and applications for independent or external fellowships. We support post-doctoral researchers in developing their own research ideas and advancing their academic careers.
Requirements: PhD in biostatistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, human genetics, statistical genetics, or related discipline. The candidate should have a strong computational background, demonstrated proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages, experience in working in HPC and/or cloud-based environment and experience in genetic/genomics oriented research.
PhD Students
We offer dedicated PhD projects focused on cardiovascular genomics, proteomics, and multi-omics data integration. Projects may involve analysing large-scale population datasets such as UK Biobank, functional analyses, and translational research questions in CVD.
Requirements:PhD candidates should have a strong interest in data-driven research and cardiovascular biology. Opportunities are typically aligned with institutional or funded PhD programs (CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT etc). The candidate should have a strong computational background, demonstrated proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages, experience in working in HPC and/or cloud-based environment and interested in genetic/genomics oriented research.
Training & Trainees (Large-Scale Data)
We provide training opportunities for students and trainees interested in working with large-scale genomic, proteomic, and multi-omics datasets related to cardiovascular disease.
This includes short-term projects (1-4 moths), internships, and MSc & BSc thesis projects aimed at building skills in data analysis, interpretation, and reproducible research. Trainees from diverse quantitative or life-science backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
